Welcome to the Manoir de la Vallée 

  

In the country of the old seigneurial houses near the Castles of the Loire, the Manoir de la Vallée, has peacefully dominated the valley of the Loir since the XVIth century, The Manoir de la Vallée has retained it's impressive old beams and large fireplaces of «tuffeau» stone. On two hectares of grounds, landscaped with majestic trees and a swimming pool with turquoise blue waters. 

You will find peace and relaxation in the shaded garden. When the evenings become cooler, you can take refuge in the tranquility of the lounge, or in front of a fire or in the conviviality of the dining room, as your mood dictates. It truly is a quiet and cozy place where we would wish that time itself stops, as magic as the surrounding area where we are guided in the steps of Ronsard and Rabelais to explore our region " La Touraine". Your expedition could start right behind the manor where the beautiful river Le Loir passes us by.
                                                                                            

The main staircase (it is still possible to see tracks of flour) dates from the time when the Manor house was the most important farm of La Chartre sur le Loir. It allows you to reach bedrooms, with their parquet of oak hardwood floors in the ancient style. The room "Jehan I Le Gantier" kept its impressive fireplace, from which the coat of arms of the family was removed during the 1789 French Revolution.

The Manor house offers you three bedrooms, sleeping space for 9 plus one child and  one baby (three double and three single beds). There are  two bathrooms, one equipped with a big shower, a washbasin, toilet and with a mini refrigerator, the other with bath , washbasin and toilet. The lounge is equipped with satellite TV (with French, English and German channels) DVD and stéreo. The dining room allows you to receive from 6 to 10 dinner guests under its old iron chandelier. Your kitchen is fully equipped (stove with oven, gas and electric, dishwasher, one microwave, a refrigerator). A washing machine and tumble-dryer complete the equipment. A toilet is also available on the ground floor. Sheets and hand towels are supplied. You have access to a PC with free unlimited INTERNET. And there will always be our help if you need information and other assistance..

 

   For 2007 the swimming pool is open from april 21 to september 16
